About the opportunity
Catalpa is seeking a Communications Consultant to support us with project deliverables across several projects over the coming months.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning, developing and delivering communication products and campaigns
- Advice on approach to communication and advocacy approaches
- Working with a team to collate evidence and produce success stories
- Delivering quality and engaging communications products
- Prepare articles and images for publication or presentation
Projects
1. Promoting birth registrations
- Develop communication products (banners, posters, TV ads, etc.)
- Implement social media campaign
- Advise on styling and formatting of training materials
- Plan, oversee, and produce video content
2. Social Accountability & Inclusion
- Develop and implement an awareness campaign
- Identify key groups and tailor messages
- Establish appropriate communication channels
- Launch and maintain the Campaign
- Monitor, adjust, and evaluate success
Requirements
- Fluent Tetum, Portuguese and English language skills
- Minimum three years relevant communication skills
- Experience working with different clients in the Timorese context
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
