Data Management Adviser

 

The Partnership for Inclusive Prosperity / Parseria ba Prosperidade Inklusivu (PROSIVU) Program is seeking a Data Management Adviser is to assist Timor-Leste’s Ministry of Finance (MoF) and other contracted consultants in supporting improved analytical capabilities within the MoF.

 

PROSIVU is an Australian Government program supported by DT Global. PROSIVU is the next phase of Australia’s governance support to Timor-Leste. The program will extend Australia’s longstanding partnership with Timor-Leste in support of good governance and economic policy development. It is Australia’s primary program for providing support to Timor-Leste’s central government agencies and economic line-ministries.

This is a Local Engaged Staff position. The Data Management Adviser will have the following qualifications, experience, and skills:

 

Essential Experience and Knowledge

 

• A minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience including experience in analysing complex data, database management, data warehousing, and ETL processes
• Excellent stakeholder consultation, workshop facilitation, and report writing skills

 
Job Specific skills

 

• Proficiency in Power BI and SQL
• Strong understanding of data visualization and business intelligence tools

 

Other desirable experience and skills

 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with working level abilities of English language
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
