Senior GEDSI Adviser

The Partnership for Inclusive Prosperity / Parseria ba Prosperidade Inklusivu (PROSIVU) Program is seeking a Senior GEDSI Adviser is to provide high quality strategic and technical advice to strengthen GEDSI mainstreaming processes and practices for both the PROSIVU program.

 

PROSIVU is an Australian Government program supported by DT Global. PROSIVU is the next phase of Australia’s governance support to Timor-Leste. The program will extend Australia’s longstanding partnership with Timor-Leste in support of good governance and economic policy development. It is Australia’s primary program for providing support to Timor-Leste’s central government agencies and economic line-ministries.

This is an international Short Term Adviser position. The Senior GEDSI Adviser will have the following qualifications, experience, and skills:

 

Key Selection Criteria 

• Post-Graduate degree in relevant area (development studies, gender studies, social sciences etc.),
• Demonstrated expertise in promoting gender equality and women’s economic empowerment in Timor-Leste or a similar context. Experience in gender responsive budgeting will be considered a strong advantage.
