About Timor Port SA.

Timor Port, the country's first public-private partnership, will cost a total of $490 million over a 30-year period. The new port is located in Tibar Bay, 12 km from the capital Dili. It is equipped with some of the most modern handling equipment and operating software to enable the operation of container ships of more than 7,500 TEUs, achieving a level of productivity and performance worthy of the world's largest ports. The ambition of the Port of Timor is to facilitate the country's trade with the rest of the world, in particular with China, northern Australia and Asian countries, and to make Tibar a transhipment centre and a major maritime gateway to the Asia-Pacific region. In order to develop employment opportunities for all Timorese, Timor Port has put in place strategic plans and recruitment phases that will enable the growth of the project to benefit more and more local jobs.
 
About The Position
Timor Port S.A, a subsidiary of the AGL Group, is looking for qualified candidates to fill the position detailed below:
 

1. Forklift Operator (1 post)

Main responsibilities of Forklift Operator will be:

• Loading/shifting general cargo to the trucks as per work order.

• Assisting unstuffing team by unstuff container for inspection.

• Loading/shifting containers in the stack as per work order.

• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.

 

2. Terminal Truck Driver (2 post)

Main responsibilities of Terminal Truck Driver will be:

• Ensure container transport from vessel – yard – vessel including to inspections area.

• Ensure system operational reliable.

• Loading and unloading containers and ensuring safety and security of cargo.

• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.

 

3. Reach Stacker / Empty Handler Operator (2 post)

Main responsibilities of Reach Stacker/Empty Handler Operator will be:

• Operate reach stacker/empty handler equipment to receive and load sea containers in a safe and efficient manner.

• Load and unload containers onto trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing.

• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.

 

4. Admin Driver (1 post)

Main responsibilities of Reach Stacker/Empty Handler Operator will be:

• Drive office vehicles to support administration work including TPSA visitors and guests.

• Collect and deliver goods as requested by the team.

• Take care of day-to-day maintenance of the office vehicles, checking oil, water, battery, brakes, tires, and so forth.

• Keep office vehicles properly clean and maintained, on standby ready for use at any time.

• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.

 
Eligibility Criteria:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in each position

• Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment

• Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice.

• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on safety and efficiency.
