Are you passionate about technology and eager to make an impact? Join WVTL as a temporary IT Officer (Maternity Cover), where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring seamless IT operations and empowering our team through training and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide helpdesk technical support to all WVTL users for the effective and efficient use of IT equipment and services.
- Provide IT training to WVTL Staff on how to operate IT equipments, softwares and various WV applications in order to increase productivity and efficiency within the organisation.
- Assist IT Manager to implement IT policies and guidelines to comply with Partnership Standard.
- Maintain inventory of computers assets (both hardware and software) and ensure records are up to date.
- Advise users/departments regarding IT budget, procurement and disposal of computer equipment.
- Follow-up with computer equipment suppliers, and service contractors for the actions taken to the equipment and services.
- Administrative (Other) Management:
- Assist humanitarian emergency disaster management
- Regular field visit
- Attend and contribute to devotion time
Required Professional Experience:
- At least 3-year experiences in provided IT Technical support, preferably with NGO context and environment
- Background or experience with electronic, electrical power or other telecommunication
Required Education, Training, license, registration and certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or computer science or related field
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge and high-level skills and experiences of computer hardware and software installation, configuration and maintenance.
- Strong technical knowledge and skills in Windows 10/11 clients, Windows 2000 server, LAN/WAN installation and configuration, Microsoft office O356 and Lotus Notes
