History of Kaebauk:

Kaebauk is the first “ODTI - Other Deposit Taken Institution” licensed by the Central Bank of Timor-Leste since August 2016. Kaebauk shareholders are Tuba Rai Metin (TRM), Based of Pyramid Asia (BOPA), International Financial Corporation (IFC), and Asosiasaun Tuir Rasik Mehi (Turame).

TRM was one of the microfinance operators in the early days of 2001. As a microfinance operator, TRM has gone through a difficult time during its existence, especially in 2006, when the majority of microfinance operators closed.

After TRM transformed into Kaebauk in 2016, Kaebauk has grown into the biggest microfinance institution in the country, with 22 branches that serve over 18,000 clients in the country.

Kaebauk is growing both in its client base and financial performance. This is where Kaebauk seeks good young talent who are willing to learn and grow with Kaebauk.

Pay Grade: C3
Base: Dili Head Office with flexibility to travel occasionally as needed
Reporting Line: IT User Support and Services Manager

SUMMARY

We are looking for a dedicated IT Support professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting IT issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of computer systems, networks, and software applications.

Responsibilities:

1. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and IT equipment.
  • Support network connectivity, including Wi-Fi, LAN, and VPN access.
  • Perform routine system updates, backups, and security checks.
  • Assist in user training and IT documentation for internal teams.
  • Work with IT teams to improve system efficiency and security.
  • Support IT systems related to finance and accounting applications.

2. Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in technical support, troubleshooting, and IT operations.
  • Knowledge of Windows, macOS, Linux, and Networking.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, email systems, and IT security best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in finance or accounting (preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Language skills in Tetun and English (preferred).

Document Requirement:

  • Valid criminal record from the Minister of Justice.
  • Other relevant documents.
  • Electoral card, BI, include birth certificate from RDTL.
