JOB VACANCY – MANDARIN TRANSLATOR
Haichuan Construction Unipessoal Lda, is the contractor company, currently handles a building construction, named Timor Marina Square Building, located in Bidau-Lecidere, Dili. Haichuan Construction is seeking for a Mandarin Translator to join the team and provide professional language support for communication between Mandarin-speaking and local employees and other stakeholders.

Location: Bidau-Lecidere, Dili
Contract Type: Full Time, Fixed-term
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate Mandarin–Tetun interpretation and translation as required.
- Provide interpretation during construction activities, meetings and discussions.
- Assist communication between Chinese/Mandarin-speaking management and local employees.
- Ensure that translated information is clear, accurate, and maintains the intended meaning and context.
- Perform other translation and administrative duties assigned by management.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Male (Timorese)
- Fluent in Mandarin, both spoken and written.
- Previous experience as a Mandarin Translator is an advantage.
- Knowledge of construction is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to translate accurately and effectively in a professional working environment.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
