  1. Gender and Inclusion Coordinator

 

The Gender and Inclusion Coordinator will work closely with Oxfam staff and partners to ensure cross cutting themes of gender and inclusion are incorporated and prioritised in all programs, program quality and operations.

This position will report to the Senior Gender Program Manager

Salary + Benefits with possibility to negotiate depending on skills and experience on criteria.

 

Skills and Experience require for Gender and Inclusion Coordinator

  • Excellent technical knowledge on gender and inclusion issues in Timor-Leste.
  • Extensive experience promoting gender, inclusion, and diversity equity within organizations operations and in program delivery.
  • Strong experience with program design, planning, monitoring, and review for both integrated and targeted gender and inclusion activities.
  • Extensive coordination experience supporting civil society in Timor-Leste in gender and inclusion.
  • Strong experience working in teams to build capacity and awareness on gender and inclusion.
  • Proven influencing work and ability to negotiate and agree policy positions amongst different stakeholders.
  • Good insight and contacts with major actors on gender and inclusion issues (CSOs, NGOs, journalists, Government, private sector).
  • Strong communication skills including facilitation skills.
  • Relevant qualifications or skills in a gender and inclusion related discipline.
  • Fluent written and spoken Tetum and strong spoken and written English. Portuguese and Indonesian skills are advantages.
