1. Open the book Program Manager
The Manager will be managing support and lead the development and delivery of Oxfam’s and partners’ influencing and program activities on social accountability and transparency particularly related to Disability Rights Based Budgeting and the formation and coordination of the Disability Inclusion Promoters group.
- Skills and Experience require for Open the Book Program Manager.
- Technical knowledge on Inclusive Development particularly disability inclusion, social accountability and transparency issues in Timor Leste, including state budget analysis and influencing.
- Knowledge of program planning including experience on disability focused projects and gender projects and awareness
- Experience networking with and supporting major actors on social accountability (CSOs, NGOs, journalists, Government, private sector) in Timor-Leste
- Experience in working in teams and in the effective delivery of project activities
- Coordination and administrative skills
- Experience in data collection and data entry
- Proven experience of public campaigning, including through social media.
- Proven influencing work and ability to negotiate and agree policy positions amongst different stakeholders.
- Proven record of development of staff and partners advocacy, policy and program technical and implementation capacity.
- Strong communication skills including facilitation skills
- Demonstrable understanding of gender, disability and diversity issues and proven commitment to and evidence of promoting gender and diversity equity
- Relevant qualifications or skills in a social accountability related discipline.
- Fluent Tetum. Reasonable competency in written and spoken English required.
- Lived experience of disability will be an advantage.
