Timor Port SA is a unit of Bolloré Ports and was awarded a 30-year concession by Timor-Leste Government to design, build and operate a new Terminal located at Tibar Bay in Timor-Leste. Tibar Bay Port is the only deep seaport in the region with state-of-the-art container and multi-purpose cargo handling facilities in the region.

 

About The Position

Timor Port S.A is looking for qualified candidate to fulfil a position of Electromechanical Technician (3 positions). The role will carry out maintenance and troubleshooting activities in Ship to Shore (STS) crane, Rubber-Tyred Gantry (RTG) & Mobile Harbor Crane (MHC), ensuring compliance with all maintenance plans and prioritize the equipment repairs and preparing daily log, shift reports and ensure that proper hand overing of work, tools & equipment.

 

The main responsibilities of the role will be:

• Assist in routine maintenance & repairs of all equipment in a safe working environment.
• Provide input for effective maintenance and repair of all equipment including first line Root Cause Analysis of equipment failures.
• Provide reliable service to operation is in a state of readiness and well-maintained.
• To ensure compliance of all equipment is in a safe working conditions and safety devices are fully functional.
• Able to conduct all the works with high quality of service as required to increase equipment performance.
• Reporting for necessary spare parts and update spare parts logbook.
• Strictly comply with terminal HSSE Policies & Procedures.

 

Eligibility Criteria:

• Diploma of Engineering in Electrical or Mechanic
• More than 3 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment maintenance and trouble shooting
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring drawings.
• Knowledge in the areas of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic maintenance; maintenance tools and tool organization methods.
• Computer literacy and English proficiency.
