- Extensive management experience in leading the design and delivery of disaster response programming.
- Extensive experience and understanding of disaster response and humanitarian principles and Disaster Risk Reduction with a demonstrated ability to develop and implement relevant strategies.
- Experience and skills in stakeholder liaison, including with government and working in partnership required.
- Excellent time management, coordination skills and an ability to work across thematic areas.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver quality outputs with competing deadlines.
- Demonstrated financial management and reporting skills, including experience managing multi donor funded programs.

- Extensive experience in engineer and Degree in Engineering.
- Experience in managing staff and project.
- Expertise and experience in Building construction and design
- Experience providing technical support on building and construction in humanitarian.
- Good understanding and experience in implementing international standards for building and construction.
- Knowledge of humanitarian, risk mitigation of natural disasters and Sphere standards.
- Experience working in an NGO or international agency an advantage.
- Experience in managing a team.
- Demonstrated experience in procurement and logistic.
- Experience in shelter and or engineering an advantage.
This position will report to the Engineer Supervisor

Skills and Experience require for the Junior Engineer
- Degree in Engineering.
- Demonstrated experience in Building construction and design or equivalent.
- Experience in providing technical assistance for building in humanitarian settings would be an advantage.
- Good understanding and experience in implementing international standards for building back better after humanitarian emergencies, building to mitigate risk of natural disasters and Sphere standards or willingness to learn
- Experience working in an NGO or international agency an advantage.
- Experience working in building with Timor-Leste communities highly desired.
- Experience in shelter and or engineering an advantage.
