Introduction
Associação Maluk Timor is a non-governmental organization (NGO) committed to capacity building and health system strengthening in Timor-Leste, through the mentoring and professional development of Timorese health personnel.

Position Summary
The position supports the Chief Financial Officer (CFO)'s functions in overseeing all financial operations, reporting, policies and procedures, and audt management for AMT.
Key Functions
The position supports the Chief Financial Officer (CFO)'s functions in overseeing all financial operations, reporting, policies and procedures, and audit management for AMT.
This includes:
- Responsible for leadership and line management to the Finance Team
- Responsible for developing finance-related policies and processes
- Responsible for socializing finance-related policies and processes
- Responsible for oversight over all financial processes including accounting, banking, tracking funds, administering transactions, financial records, financial reporting, internal and external audits, and reporting
- Responsible for compliance of finance process to GoTL, Australian Accounting Standards, and donor requirements
- Responsible for budget cycle, including generation to monitoring
- Responsible for all accounting processes, including QBOL
- Responsible for communication with MTA Board, AMT Board, and auditors
Selection Criteria: Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Degree in accounting
- At least 2 years work experience
- Fluency in English and Tetum
- Desirable:
- Relevant experience in NGO and health sector
