(National Position)
The Australian Volunteers Program plays a unique role in supporting the Australian government’s aid program by strengthening capacity of local partners, through long-term mentorship and skills transfer working on ground at the community and central levels. The program in Timor-Leste, has continued to support partner organisations through recruiting and mobilising volunteers to work alongside Partner organisations. These Volunteers has been assigned to various roles particularly to support the partner organisation and Timor-Leste Goverment Ministries in respond to the COVID-19 in the country.
The Position
The Australian Volunteer Program in Timor-Leste is seeking a Program Officer to support the Program Manager to implement the DFAT funded Australian Volunteer Program in Timor-Leste; playing a key representational role and helping ensure effective programming, Partnership engagement, Partnership strategy and planning
