Project Designer - Timor Plaza

 

Timor Plaza is currently looking for a PROJECT DESIGNER to join our team.

 

Responsibilities:

• Convenes and consults the Project Manager or client to define all designs requirement, document concepts, and complete concept checklist.
• Define the scope of work to be completed and confirm the details/measurements of the area.
• Creates design folder and plan.
• Conducts a pre-design meeting to outline the scope of work to be completed.
• Develop draft floor plans, concepts, techniques, and construction drawings and amends them as discussed with the Project Executive.
• Assist, review and modify draft concepts of Junior Designers to match the Method Statement
  and as per company building policy.
• Attends meetings with clients and presents ideas as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in the related field.
• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Design Engineering, or equivalent.
• Proficient in using Auto CAD, SKETCH UP, REVIT, 3DMAX, and any related software for design.
• Able to develop scope of works based on the design concept, convert brief into draft design and  draw technical construction drawings. 
• Knowledge and understanding of construction and building codes/techniques.
• Good Command of the English language (writing and speaking).
• Team Player and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Previous work experience in the design and construction industry is an advantage.
