Operations and Program Coordinator

 

The Partnership for Inclusive Prosperity / Parseria ba Prosperidade Inklusivu (PROSIVU) Program is seeking an operations and program coordinator will support and report to the Deputy Team Leader (Operations Lead) in many aspects of the overall operational management of the program.

Prosivu is an Australian Government program supported by DT Global. PROSIVU is the next phase of Australia’s governance support to Timor-Leste. The program will extend Australia’s longstanding partnership with Timor-Leste in support of good governance and economic policy development. It is Australia’s primary program for providing support to Timor-Leste’s central government agencies and economic line-ministries.

The Operations and Program Coordinator will also work closely with other members of the PROSIVU Senior Management team, the DT Global Melbourne office Senior Program Manager and Project Support Officer to provide high-quality corporate services to PROSIVU and ensure compliance with DT Global and Australian Government policies.

This is a locally engaged position. The Operations and Program Coordinator will have the following qualifications, experience, and skills:

Essential Experience and Knowledge

• Bachelor Degree or other relevant qualification in management, administration, HR, procurement or other discipline relevant to the role.
• At least 5 to 7 years of experience in an office management or similar role, preferably in a development program context.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage a variety of functions, including administration, personnel management, contracts, and day to day activities.
• Demonstrated ability to implement corporate policies and procedures; develop operational systems and manage process improvements.
• Highly developed oral and written communication skills in English and Tetum.

Desirable

• Able to plan, strategise and clearly document operational procedures, and solve problems with practical solutions.
