To support of its current growth, Plan International Timor-Leste is seeking for a creative and ambitious JNO Project Officer. Dimensions of the Role
  • Has deep knowledge of the better project quality implementation in the field and control as well as a gender transformative programming and influencing;
  • Coordinates directly with the Local Authority with project manager to ensure project will involve key leader in post administration level.
  • Ensure quality delivery report to the project manager with monthly bases and narrative
  • Work closely with project CMO and project M&E.
Accountabilities
  • Project planning
  • Implement potential activity, develop weekly plan and monthly plan with project
  • In consultation with leader local and sponsorship team to see strategies and operation plans of project.
  • Assure the gender equality, inclusion and LGBTIQ part of the planning stage and implementation.
  • Coordinate and manage and supervise day to day with in the field
  • Submit planning and report to project manager
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly review of status of project implementation plan and facilitate quarterly re-planning with Project manager.
  • Coordinate with local leader and principal of primary school to ensure the participation of students in Project activity and community.
  • Directly responsible for all Project activity and provides other support as necessary to the sponsorship activity
  • Ensures that Plan International’s global policies for Child Protection (CPP) and Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEI) are fully embedded in accordance with the principles and requirements of the policy including relevant Implementation Standards and Guidelines as applicable to their area of responsibility. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring staff and associates are aware of and understand their responsibilities under these policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct (CoC), their relevance to their area of work, and that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the appropriate procedures.
Key relationships
Program implementation, monitoring, review, evaluation and learning

  • Coordinate with local leader and teachers to ensure the participation of students in the project activity.
  • Ensures respect for Plan’s Code of Conduct, Child Protection Policy, Gender Equality Policy and IT Policy
  • Directly responsible for all project activity Provides other support as necessary to the sponsorship activity
  • Ensures all activities are in line with Plan’s gender transformative approach.
  • Mobilize participation of teachers and students on various project related activities
  • Conduct advocacy/ awareness-raising activities on project.
  • Represent Plan in district and suco-level network meetings related to project
  • Perform other functions as may be required from time to time
  • Assure all the implementation of the project base on the time frame
  • Approach and engage with relevant stakeholders
  • Conduct regular field monitor program implementation and ensure quality delivery of project
  • Lead the project review, evaluation and reporting
  • Assure the integration of gender equality, inclusion, and LGTIQ in implementation, monitoring and evaluation stages.

  • Based in Area Office in Ainaro, typical office environment
